Shane Byrd

Mr. Shane Byrd is a distinguished Lubbock businessman and attorney who owns four established bond companies National Bonding of Lubbock, Lone Star Bail Bond, ACE Bail Bond, and Lubbock Bail Bond. Under his leadership, these organizations bring over 100 years of combined experience in the Texas bonding industry. For more than three decades, Mr. Byrd has worked closely with attorneys, judges, clerks, and courts throughout Lubbock and across much of Texas, providing support to individuals and families navigating the criminal justice system.

Mr. Byrd’s commitment to client advocacy expanded beyond the bonding industry. After completing his undergraduate studies in criminal justice at Texas Tech University, he pursued his goal of becoming a criminal defense attorney. He earned his J.D. from Charlotte School of Law in North Carolina and returned to Lubbock, where he now serves as a Partner at the Texas Criminal Defense Group. Mr. Byrd’s practice focuses on criminal defense and also encompasses corporate law, transactional law, business contracts, business finance, and international law allowing him to provide comprehensive legal counsel to individuals, entrepreneurs, and business owners.

Rooted in the Lubbock community, Mr. Byrd owns multiple local businesses and has organized events for Texas Tech University students. His extensive business background gives him insight into the pressures faced by professionals and families. He understands that good people sometimes make mistakes, and he is committed to protecting his clients’ futures and resolving their cases with efficiency and positive outcomes.
