John Cheney: “the best decision of my life when it comes to these matters. They brought me into the fold there. I knew I was going to get good representation. I knew she wouldn’t let me lose my kids. I’d ask, you know, no runaround. Just give it to me straight. And she did. She really just laid it out.”
John Cheney: “But ultimately, I had to make the decision, and either way, she’s going to make it the best situation possible. It was like having, you know, multiple generals on the battlefield. They included me in and explained how things worked. I felt like I was”
John Cheney: “back in my old childhood house, being the little brother of the family. And, you know, if somebody messed with me, my brother and sister were standing right there in front of them. Hey, hey, hey, you don’t do that. That’s how I felt with these two. They were my defenders. I don’t know how”
John Cheney: “I would have survived without these guys, but all I know is they got me through it, clawed their way through anything that was thrown at us. They would not let me fail, and they’ll do the same for you. I’m confident. I thought I was going to feel a sense of relief.”
John Cheney: “The first feeling wasn’t relief. It was a ‘yeah, we know’. And I was like, well, of course. I mean, I was standing there and I was looking at the work. That my lawyers did, the way they conducted themselves and how they stuck to it. Then the relief”
John Cheney: “set in, and then the 3 1/2 years of holding back tears broke. So I let that go. If it was another law group, I just honestly don’t see any other way that it could have turned out like this without those two individuals. Just period.”
John Cheney: “They are a godsend. They are exactly who needed to be there.”
