Jessica L. Paige is a native of Dallas, Texas where she has spent her entire career as a social worker and attorney. Jessica earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work from UT Arlington in December 2015, and became a Licensed Master Social Worker, in 2017. With that degree, she rose through the Department of Family & Protective Services ranks, ending her 13-year career as a Program Director with Child Protective Services. During her time with DFPS, Jessica worked closely with the Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center’s multidisciplinary team, to prosecute child sex crimes. 

While working as a Licensed Master Social Worker, Jessica was accepted to the University of North Texas at Dallas College of Law and ultimately earned her J.D. in 2023.  Amongst being a wife, mother, working full time, and completing her course work; Jessica found the time to participate in Moot Court, Mock Trial, Community Engagement Ambassadorship, the Joyce Ann Brown Innocence Clinic, and a host of internships and externships. Jessica led many social justice efforts at UNT Dallas College of Law and, notably, Jessica served as the Southwest Chair of National Black Law Student Association and a legislative aide at the Texas House of Representatives.

In her first year of practice, Jessica served as an Assistant District Attorney in Dallas County. There, she led over a dozen trials and argued several dozen motions and preliminary matters. Jessica has demonstrated expertise in criminal, agency, and family law. She has a passion for transformative justice and uses her polished skills in trial advocacy, issue spotting, and instinctual solution-seeking. 

Currently, she is an active member of the Dallas Bar Association and is a board member of the J.L. Turner Legal Association.
