Kyle McCardle was born and raised in Lufkin, Texas with his mother and sister. His grandfather was a heavy equipment mechanic that made sure Kyle learned early the value of a hard day’s work and the need to pursue his education.
Kyle attended Texas A&M where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, minoring in Economics. After graduation, Kyle married his hometown sweetheart, Casey. Kyle went on to attend St. Mary’s School of Law in San Antonio, Texas.
During the summers of law school and after graduation, Kyle worked with a defense attorney in Lufkin, Texas that cemented Kyle’s passion for criminal law. After passing the bar, Kyle moved to Midland and started working for the Midland County District Attorney’s Office.
Kyle moved through the ranks of the District Attorney’s office and became Trial Team Chief for the 441st District Court. During his nine years with the District Attorney’s office, Kyle tried over 75 jury trials for offenses ranging from traffic tickets to death penalty cases and everything in between. Kyle has now returned to his original passion of criminal defense and looks to put his depth of courtroom experience to work for the people of West Texas.
Kyle is active in the Midland County Young Lawyers and Midland County Bar Association having just completed a term as the Midland County Bar President. When not lawyering, Kyle enjoys spending time with his two foster children and playing video and board games with friends.
